Position Summary

This position is an early career, remote opportunity located in the Dallas, TX area. The selected candidate will work with cross-functional teams that are charged with developing and marketing Amphenol's next generation power products. This position will be focused on Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle (EV) Space to help to drive the next generation roadmap for Power Connectors. The ideal candidate must beversatile, with a good blend of business acumen and a quick learner with the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.**This Position is not eligible forRelocation.**

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the field sales teams to identify requirements and understand the market trends in Energy Storage System (ESS) and EV space to help facilitate product strategy roadmap.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, business development and operations) to proactively identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements to close the total available market space.
  • Help to create product introduction materials and slides to launch the product to market.
  • Proactively present and promote the Power Solutions portfolio to help the field teams understand the positioning, benefits and target customers.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
  • Product Management or engineering experience in the battery, energy storage systems, power electronics or electrical systems business, or related fields preferred.
  • Interest and knowledge of energy storage systems architecture, battery management and control systems, battery modules and Charging technologies preferred.
  • Interest in Battery standards or charging standards preferred.
  • Good communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel both domestically (frequently) and internationally (occasionally).
