Your Specific Responsibilities
This position serves as a Government Operations Consultant III within the Bureau of One-Stop and Program Support, Employ Florida (EF) Administration unit. This Government Operations Consultant III will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Employ Florida application. The incumbent will coordinate with Department staff to provide information and reports to other government agencies and administrative entities . This position will provide training and technical assistance and writing guidance for workforce programs. This position will provide direction, input/feedback and implementation of system functions, content, and enhancements for the new system. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and directing Department resources in their input/feedback and other duties associated with the project and in working with the selected vendor.
The Following Duties Are Included In This Code
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
Minimum
$60,000 – $65,000 annually

The Following Duties Are Included In This Code
- Create, manage, and update administrative accounts in the Employ Florida (EF) application.
- Review, approve, and respond to service requests submitted to the Online Project Communication system.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of federal and state mandated changes, enhancements, and refinements to workforce program reporting systems.
- Establish and maintain an on-going working relationship with partners and customers to ensure delivery of quality products with regard to supporting system enhancements and workforce programs.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of system modules supporting the web-based applications of EF relative to workforce programs to include application design and testing, instituting change control procedures, coordinating communication between agencies and workforce partners, and prioritizing changes.
- Participate in Data Validation procedures related to the Employ Florida.
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
- Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Wagner-Peyser (WP), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Welfare Transition (WT), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker (MSFW) and Trade Adjustment Act (TAA) programs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in individual and group settings, both verbally and in writing.
