This is a hybrid work environment, 1- 2 days onsite weekly required
The Information Technology Specialist I is an engineering position on the Endpoint Engineering Team within Workplace Technology Services. This team is responsible for the strategic direction of the end user computing experience (hardware and OS standards). Additionally, this team defines requirements and develops solutions using current and next generation technologies. This includes but is not limited to: SCCM, Intune, JAMF, PowerShell, Azure, etc. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in OS builds and troubleshooting (Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OSX). This position is to be able manage endpoints using cloud technologies such as Intune and JAMF. Highly developed troubleshooting skills are a must.

The salary range for this role is $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Responsibilities
- A Senior Endpoint Solutions Engineer is responsible for overseeing the entire endpoint solutions infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. Their duties include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint solutions infrastructure and services
- Collaborating with other IT teams to assess near- and long-term endpoint solutions capacity needs
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated training plans for endpoint solutions administration
- Managing endpoint solutions assets, including maintenance of endpoint solutions systems and services
- Overseeing the work of Endpoint Solutions Engineers and providing guidance and support
- Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall business goals.
- Participates and/or leads the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation.
- Coordinates the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost, service and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
- Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
- Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment.
- Participates in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system specifications.
- Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes, functional requirements and resource costs, including evaluation of existing applications and alternative uses of technology.
- Advises clients on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client, and provides ongoing communication.
- Consults on the identification and definition of solution alternatives within the framework provided by Enterprise Architecture.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; Masters degree preferred.
- Eight years of diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of six years experience in systems analysis and application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Intune
- SCCM
- Powershell / PowerBI / PowerAutomate / JSON
- Azure / M365 / OneDrive
- Knowledge of JAMF / Mac OSX
