The Ask: Client is looking for a SAP S/4HANA PM with hands-on exp in S/4HANA Implementation in a Pharma Domain.
She/He to lead and manage S/4 HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of end-to-end SAP project management, including SAP ECC to S/4 HANA migration. Experience working in the pharma industry is preferred. The Senior SAP Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience managing SAP projects, including ECC and S/4 HANA implementation projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading S/4 HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements such as regulatory compliance and cost management.
- Certifications (Good to Have):
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- SAP Activate certification for project management in SAP S/4 HANA environments.
- Any other relevant SAP certifications.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Agile project management, and waterfall approaches.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC to S/4 HANA migration strategies.
- Basic understanding of integration points across SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, and others.

Responsibilities:
- Lead S/4 HANA Implementation Projects:
Manage full lifecycle S/4 HANA implementation projects, including planning, design, execution, testing, and deployment. Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are completed on time and within budget. - Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps. Coordinate resources, define roles, assign responsibilities, and set project expectations across various functional teams. Ensure compliance with SAP Activate methodology or other project management standards. - Pharma Domain Expertise:
Leverage knowledge of pharmaceutical industry processes to ensure successful implementation of SAP solutions tailored to the unique needs of pharma, including compliance with regulatory standards, cost management, and supply chain optimization. - Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key business stakeholders, including C-level executives, functional leads, and end users, to ensure the project meets business objectives. Facilitate communication and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and outcomes. - Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential roadblocks. Track and resolve issues promptly to prevent project delays. - Budget Management:
Manage project budgets, track spending, and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders and adjust project scope when necessary to stay within budget constraints. - Team Leadership and Resource Allocation:
Lead cross-functional teams of SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts. Ensure proper resource allocation, foster collaboration, and mentor team members to maintain a high level of performance.
