We are in search of a diligent Human Resource File Clerk to join our team in the non-profit industry based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Human Resource File Clerk, your role will primarily involve managing and maintaining employee files, handling confidential information with care, and carrying out various administrative tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Update, maintain, and create personnel files for employees
Guarantee all necessary documentation is included in files
Generate orientation packets for new employees
Organize, track, and file various documents
Compile necessary documents into respective folders
Update Excel spreadsheets regularly
Assist with additional administrative tasks related to Human Resource operations
Handle confidential information with utmost discretion
Use software such as Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, A-Systems, Epic Software, IBM AS/400, About Time for various tasks
Perform clerical duties and respond to inbound calls when necessary.
Minimum of 1+ years' experience in a similar role or relevant field
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, and A-Systems
Experience with Epic Software and IBM AS/400
Familiarity with About Time software
Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently
Experience in creating charts and graphs
Proficient in clerical duties such as filing, typing, and copying documents
Excellent written communication skills for handling correspondence
High school diploma or equivalent education level
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
