Responsibilities

  • Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (automation, reports, etc.)
  • Serve as the technical resource in the analysis, evaluation, and execution, of operational processes and systems
  • Own our internal system of record for timesheet management
  • Enhance company policies and procedures relating to new processes
  • Build and manage reports for many users across the organization
  • Work with VP Operations to create and implement long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently
  • Assist in managing and tracking KPIs across the organization
  • Coordinate with other teams to implement initiatives and cross-training efforts
  • Analyze expenses to recommends ways to increase revenue, decrease costs, and improve efficiency
  • Creating presentations and communicating with executives about plans and strategies
  • Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners/vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and take proactive measures to address issues and ensure project success.
  • Work with accounting staff to facilitate discussions on client account payment habits, invoicing processes and billable hours verification
  • Experience in Grant proposals would be considered an asset
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all project team members.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare project reports and presentations, and provide updates to key stakeholders as needed.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in project management including operational experience would be considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinating different teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
  • Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to optimize profitability
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work on different tasks that cross all functions of the business
  • Analytical skills

  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Nice to have: Financial analysis skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
