Program Details
Duration: June 2 - August 8, 2025
Location: Remote
Pay: $25.00/hour
What you'll be responsible for:
Innovating with your team by bringing your own ideas on how to solve customer problems.
Participating in daily standup meetings with the agile team to discuss work items in flight and upcoming objectives, and additionally participating in the entire agile process.
Documenting and organizing work progress in a backlog by priority order. Bonus points for anyone who improves documentation or identifies process improvements!
Learning about the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and implementing them through Test-Driven Development, Paid/Mob Programming, Observability, and Unit Testing.
What you'll need to have:
Enrolled at an accredited university.
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or Software Engineering.
Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Sciences, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or System Analysis.
Previous exposure and basic understanding of any combination of the following technologies: .Net, C#, Java, MS SQL, MySQL, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React/Vue/Angular, unit testing, automated testing, or observability tools.
A basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the value it provides in delivering superior customer solutions.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
