Duties

Serve as a hydraulic modeler, including updating growth and demand projections, updating and creating hydraulic models for various utilities across the country, model calibration, capacity evaluations, and water quality / water age modeling. Conduct comprehensive studies on water and wastewater systems which involves collecting data on water quality, water demand, wastewater discharge, and more. Develop and analyze water treatment hydraulic profiles. Use data to identify issues and develop solutions to improve the overall efficiency of the system. Create reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to clients. Develop projections and forecasts to help clients plan for future needs, including predicting future water demand and other factors that impact the system. Identify cost-effective solutions that meet the client's budget, including evaluating potential funding sources and recommending solutions that provide the best value for the client. No hire/fire authority. Requirements

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline plus at least three years of related experience, or alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline plus at least five years of related experience. Must have experience with water and wastewater master planning. Must have experience with modeling wastewater collection systems, including combined sewer systems (CSOs) for wastewater overflow reduction. Must have experience with model development, simulation and analysis tools including Bentley WaterGEMS, Autodesk InfoWater Pro, EPANET, PCSWMM, SewerGEMS, Win-TR 55, HEC-RAS, and ICM Infoworks. Must have experience with model results visualization tools including ESRI ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, Power BI, and MS Excel. Must have experience developing concise technical reports and presentations to summarize and document results. Telecommuting is permissible within a reasonable commuting distance from the Tampa, FL office. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
