Job Description:

The Georgia Department of Revenue seeks an IT Security Manager to lead its Information Security team, supporting the CISO in driving security standards, architecture, and best practices across the enterprise. This role oversees SOC operations, compliance initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage SOC and compliance initiatives for security policy, architecture, and training.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments, audits, and security administration for IT projects.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s in IT or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years in Systems, Network, and AWS Security.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security.
  • Background in security tools like SIEM (Splunk) and endpoint security.
