HOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.82 - $34.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

HOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- The Administrative Assistant (AA) shall, under government direction, provide administrative support services to assist in meeting mission requirements of the sponsor Department/Appeals Staff and their customers throughout the sponsor's organization
- The contractor shall protect all customer information and data, and employ discretion and the "need to know" principles
- Prepare, review, scan, route and mail a variety of correspondence and appeals products
- Provide accurate and timely responses to status requests and inquiries to include prioritizing correspondence for mailing and ensuring it is completed in a timely fashion
- Maintain standard operating procedures, including appropriate tracking in internal databases for efficient retrieval and status inquiries
- Handle case files with appropriate discretion and in adherence to guidelines related to personally identifiable information
- Track files according to their location, to include final archiving
- Work with office leadership to discern incoming requests ( attorneys and appellants) to ensure accurate processing in a timely manner
- Position requires the ability to lift/move stacks of case files / boxes weighing no more than 20 pounds (cart is available for transporting)
- Occasional travel of approximately 10 to 15 miles to other customer or contractor buildings as necessary
- Provide miscellaneous support services to various databases to validate and update information
- Coordinate accesses for various Sponsor security systems and will perform data clean up tasks as appropriate
- Maintain accesses to Sponsor office spaces, request appropriate office access, and assist new personnel on access procedures
- Manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing correspondence within established timeframes and be flexible to changing work requirements
- Assist with ongoing sponsor digitization efforts; document actions in proprietary sponsor software systems, utilize tableau reports to identify data discrepancies for resolution, ensure accuracy of data records
- Assist with responses to written and telephonic external inquiries according to sponsor protocols
- The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- The position requires High School Diploma and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sponsor is flexible on hours and open to discussion; in order to utilize sponsor mailing office, hours should include 10am - 2:30pm
- Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
