As Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead land development and infrastructure projects nationwide, oversee project planning, team management, and stakeholder coordination.
What you'll get to do:
- Plan, design/engineer, and manage the execution of civil engineering projects, such as land/site development, roads, water supply systems, sewer collection system and drainage systems
- Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, specifications, drawings, and reports
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external parties, such as clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, and public agencies
- Monitor and control the progress, quality, and performance of the projects, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status, milestones and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues and manage changes and conflicts
- Conduct site inspections/observations to check compliance with permitted design drawings and provide technical support and solutions to field staff and contractors
- Lead and motivate a project team, providing guidance, mentoring and coaching to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Foster collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting communication, teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering processes, methods, and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, preferably in the land development sector
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and large-scale projects within scope, budget, and schedule
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in using various engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, etc
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
