ATCS is growing! We re looking for an Air & Noise Analyst to join our team! This position will be based out of our Mechanicsburg, PA office but other locations may be considered. This is an onsite role with the opportunity to evolve into a hybrid role after a temporary probationary period. This role will work alongside our talent Air & Noise/GIS team on exciting projects companywide.
Duties:
- Perform data collection, noise monitoring, modeling, and analysis for various transportation improvement projects
- Write articulate, thorough reports that assess and document noise impacts and potential noise mitigation measures
- Perform field work, as needed
- Produce high quality GIS deliverables that accompany submitted noise analysis reports
- Assist other company-wide GIS initiatives
Job Requirements:
- BS in Environmental Science, GIS, Civil Engineering or a related field is required; MS degree is a plus
- Entry to 2+ years of experience desired
- Proficiency ArcGIS/Applications/Word/Excel
- TNM 2.5, Microstation, AutoCAD experience is desired but not preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal (FHWA) noise policies and procedures desired
- Excellent communications skills and technical writing skills
- Willingness to perform field & office work
The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $50,400 to $72,900 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
