We are seeking a technology B2B Account Executive to join our team in the Baltimore market. This is an on-site position at the office in Reisterstown, Maryland, with some remote work. It is primarily a self-lead-generated hunter role, though the company does provide leads.

Sales Executive Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquires new customers by generating leads, setting meetings both virtual and on-site, and managing the full sales cycle
  • Research customer's business purchase needs and timelines
  • Attends networking events
  • Develops referral partners to increase leads by incentivizing others
  • Performs system demonstrations
  • Proper use of CRM, accountability for activity, and follow-up actions
  • Maintains knowledge of competitors' features and pricing models
  • Makes recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of how the customer utilizes current systems
  • Maintains documentation of customer contacts

Sales Executive Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma, some College preferred
  • VoIP, SIP, broadband, Software, Unified Communications, SaaS, UCaaS, Low Voltage systems, Data Networks, CLEC experience is not required but could be helpful
  • 2+ years of sales experience with detailed pipeline management
  • Professional phone and email communication
  • Prospecting skills through creative research and networking
  • Territory management and/or vertical focus a plus
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums
  • Self-motivation and a positive attitude when working independently as well as a team
