Duties: Responsible for defining, maintaining and extending the functional product architecture for business applications.
Defines and maintains a product architecture that offers flexibility to Product Strategy and Product Management to configure product and services solutions that meet business requirements of clients in the marketplace.
Delivers the concepts defined in the Enterprise Architecture strategic roadmaps in the form of a library of reusable component models.
Defines the high-level structure of a product solution by mapping marketplace and business requirements to application system components.
Arranges functionality of application components, assigns component responsibility, defines component interaction and correlates the application system components to a product solution as defined by the requirements.
This process includes the resolution of those requirements best met by existing or enhanced application components and those which will be addressed by new application components (to be built, purchased, or otherwise leveraged from an external vendor).
Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
Enterprise Architecture Framework Certification (TOGAF, EA3, Zachman, etc.) is preferred.
Modeling and graphical representations and abstractions.
Experience developing and building models based on the TOGAF Framework and understanding the relationships between various models.
Communications, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.) with the ability to translate technical content into actionable insights for business and technology leaders.
This includes creating and maintaining architectural data repository views.
Understanding the business needs for solutions, balancing that with the technology needs, and being able to communicate tradeoffs.
Extensive of network, storage, end user computing, security, collaboration and mobile domains. Group session facilitation.
Team leadership.
Marketing (selling the results of architectural approaches through presentations).
Analysis and design.
