Job Description Summary
The Program Management Lead Engineer holds responsibility in areas of functional development, operations, and sustainability of key foundational gas power engineering tools, with emphasis on our widely used Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and its integrations with other software tools. The position is part of the CMPD Pillar Engineering Tools (PET) organization, a cohesive team of applications specialists, backend developers, and system administrators who influence the way engineering collaboration works across GE Vernova Gas Power.
The Lead Engineer will play a key role as we transition PLMs from the current GTCC platform to a future tool built on the Teamcenter platform. This multi-year project offers an outstanding opportunity for one to gain expertise in the retirement phases of a large mature software and the exciting, collaborative energies that go into the development and introduction of Gas Power Engineering's (GPE's) next generation PLM solution. The role will later develop into a key player to drive future phases of PLM capability. Lead Engineer activities also include facilitation and contribution towards applying and shaping our approach to standard work, activity visibility, new ideas, process-tool integration. and continuous improvement.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a lead for functional ownership of the GTCC PLM platform, helping enable the realization of enhancements and sustainability needs and participating in IT's quarterly Planning Interval (PI) cycle.
  • Work with the PLM Program Manager, helping coordinate the planning and execution of activities associated with the transition to our next generation Teamcenter PLM platform.
  • For current and future PLM platforms, serve as a liaison between IT and GPE to clarify system integration needs focused on GPE project setup and execution.
  • Help drive metric-based action plans for PLM defects and task On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Support and refine communication rhythm, standard work, and training material in coverage areas.
  • Across the PET team, lead facilitation efforts to centralize task visibility in each tool development workspace, targeting a standardized effort per unit volume approach.
  • Collaborate with a global team of professionals across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Take on additional scope, as requested, when capacity and emergent needs allow.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a design and/or manufacturing role, with a minimum of 3 years of that applied to power plant components.

  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
  • Fluent in English.

L'Ingnieur(e) Gestion de programmes est responsable du dveloppement fonctionnel, de l'exploitation et de la durabilit des principaux outils d'ingnierie Gas Power, et plus particulirement de notre logiciel de gestion du cycle de vie des produits (PLM), trs largement utilis, et de ses intgrations avec d'autres outils logiciels. Ce poste fait partie de l'organisation CMPD Pillar Engineering Tools (PET), une quipe soude de spcialistes des applications, de dveloppeurs back-end et d'administrateurs systme, qui influent sur le fonctionnement de la collaboration technique au sein de GE Vernova Gas Power.

Le/La titulaire du poste jouera un rle cl dans la transition des logiciels PLM de la plateforme GTCC actuelle vers un nouvel outil qui sera bas sur la plateforme Teamcenter. Le/La titulaire du poste participera galement la dfinition et l'application de notre approche en termes de standards de travail, de visibilit des activits, de nouvelles ides, d'intgration des processus et des outils, et d'amlioration continue.

Rles et responsabilits
  • Agir en tant que responsable fonctionnel de la plateforme PLM GTCC, en contribuant la ralisation des amliorations et au respect des besoins en matire de durabilit, et en participant au cycle trimestriel d'intervalle de planification (PI) du service informatique
  • Travailler avec le gestionnaire de programme PLM, en aidant coordonner la planification et l'excution des activits associes la transition vers notre plateforme PLM Teamcenter nouvelle gnration
  • Pour les plateformes PLM actuelles et futures, assurer le lien entre les quipes IT et GPE pour clarifier les besoins d'intgration des systmes, dans le cadre de la configuration et de l'excution du projet GPE
  • Contribuer la mise en place de plans d'action bass sur des indicateurs pour les dfauts du PLM et le respect des dlais de livraison (OTD)
  • Soutenir et affiner le rythme de communication, les standards de travail et les supports de formation dans les zones concernes
  • Au sein de l'quipe PET, diriger les efforts de facilitation pour centraliser la visibilit des tches dans chaque espace de travail de dveloppement d'outils, en privilgiant une approche standardise de l'effort par unit de volume
  • Collaborer avec une quipe mondiale de professionnels dans plusieurs zones gographiques et fuseaux horaires
  • Prendre des responsabilits supplmentaires, selon les besoins, en fonction de l'volution des capacits et des besoins

Qualifications requises
  • BAC+3 en ingnierie, en physique, en chimie, en mathmatiques ou en informatique ou expriences/connaissances quivalentes
  • Exprience significative un poste de conception et/ou de fabrication, dont au moins 3 ans dans le domaine des composants de centrales lectriques

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $98,400-$120,000 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for A Variable Incentive (VIC PW ) Bonus of 10%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
