For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $69,600-$104,400 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) Bonus of 5%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
This position will stay open on the career website until at least September 13, 2024.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create definitions of parts, models, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
- Accurately employ engineering judgment to mitigate quality risk and ensure full technical reviews of 3D models with technical experts in the team, with resultant action item completion, for higher risk designs.
- Develop standardized documentation on best practices and lessons learned through collaboration with the team and expertise acquired.
- Drive a Lean culture approach throughout the team, proposing ideas for continuous improvement in the design and engineering process.
- Accurately employ engineering judgment to mitigate quality risk and ensure full technical reviews of 3D models with technical experts in the team, with resultant action item completion, for higher risk designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- 40 hours/week - on-site at GE in Greenville, SC at least 2 days per week
