We are looking for an Expert Graphic Designer to contribute to the graphic design vision for Nike Basketball. Our team works on highly visible, authentic team issue and fan wear collections for the NBA. This is where sport, design and culture meet and where we are redefining apparel for all athletes*. This role requires a high level of passion and creativity, along with the versatility and focus to contribute to graphic direction and strategy through the product creation process. It takes a dedicated leader and teammate that knows how to collaborate and translate sophisticated insights into authentic narratives, while driving design solutions that elevate the future of apparel at Nike.

From building concepts and narratives, to working with development to finalize production details; from gaining feedback from basketball athletes and consumers, to choosing trim and print applications, you will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences. Accountabilities include: influencing teams and contributing to the creative vision of Nike Basketball, leading seasonal collections and meetings, while cascading critical information, presenting design concepts and seasonal initiatives to internal and external partners.

You will be driving graphic strategy and vision for Nike Basketball NBA Licensed Graphics while working with a team of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver creative in line with the Nike Design Ethos. This opportunity will require world-class design and collaborative skills to meet deadlines, ensure feasibility and hit price points, while talking your partners through the thinking behind your work.

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, 8 years or more of graphic design experience at agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture
• Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling
• Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities, in a fast-paced environment
• Professional visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences
• Passion for design craft, innovation, graphic applications, prints, processes and tools
• Strong knowledge of apparel product creation
• Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces and 3D
• Ability to embrace varying points of view while fostering an environment of inclusivity and diversity.
