Due Date: November 8, 2024 at Noon EST

Project Length: Through June 30, 2025. May be renewed by mutual agreement after the initial contract term on a yearly basis for no more than two (2) years. Renewal shall be contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations of the contractor.

More than one candidate may be selected. Local candidates are preferred, and hybrid work may be considered.

OBJECTIVE

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS or Department) seeks to establish a contractual services agreement with a qualified State Term Contract vendor to provide information technology services through the following new temporary staff position: Business Process Consultant (experienced). The position will report to the Department s Office of Agriculture Technology Services (OATS), Project and Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) to supplement existing staff by supporting the planning, design, development, and implementation of information technology projects.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT RESUME

  1. Resume shall NOT exceed three (3) pages in length.
  2. The candidate s experience must be verifiable via 3 professional references.
  3. Resume Acknowledgement Form Must submit a signed (Resume Self-Certification Form) for each candidate
  4. The contractor shall explain how the proposed candidate meets the minimum requirements and explain the candidate s experience in performing the representative activities.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff.

Project Management Professional certification (PMP).

A minimum of seven (7) years of performing business analysis on IT projects.

Experience with Agile Methodologies.

Experience with Dev Ops Methodologies.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing large, cross-divisional, and cross-functional software development programs / projects.

Preferred Experience

Experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Power Platform development programs / projects.

Experience leading cloud solution development

programs/projects leveraging other low/no-code platforms.

Experience communicating with IT leadership and

business leadership.

Experience facilitating requirements gathering and Joint

Application Design sessions.

Experience managing documentation in MS SharePoint.

Experience managing documentation in MS Teams.

Experience managing projects for a state of Florida Information Technology PPMO; and

Experience creating a Solution Definition Framework or ISDM.

Educational Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer

sciences field or management information systems; or five years of work experience in information technology, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
