Location: This is a remote position within the US. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, as sponsorship and relocation are not available.
Work Hours: This position requires hours from approximately 10am to 7pm Central US to ensure overlap with our New Zealand team.
Our client, a preferred global telecommunications company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced .NET Developer to join their team. This role is a hiring priority to support the expanding demands of their global operations. In this role, you ll play a key part in designing solutions for our client that provide a seamless interface for customers across a geographically diverse network and enable connectivity across multiple network elements. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment filled with challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development Lifecycle: Engage in all phases from concept to deployment.
- Debugging & Configuration: Troubleshoot and configure systems, with opportunities for new code development.
- System Analysis: Analyze requirements and prioritize tasks to align with business needs.
- Coding & Architecture: Write clean, testable code and develop technical specifications.
- Testing & Deployment: Ensure quality and functionality of .NET applications.
- Code Review & Refactoring: Maintain and enhance code quality.
- Application Upgrades: Implement improvements and system updates.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough development and operational documentation.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in .NET (C# and Visual Basic) with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, and web frontends.
- Expertise in Entity Framework, ASP MVC5, .NET Core, and MS SQL.
- Experience with API technologies (JSON, XML, REST).
- Excellent communication skills and experience with Agile methodology.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, and TFS (Dev Ops).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PowerShell and MySQL.
- Background in telecommunications.
- Knowledge of Azure B2C.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
