Location: This position is hybrid, based in Laurel, MD 20707.
Role:
Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead/Developer to provide technical guidance and support for automating batch jobs using UC4 applications. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to modify existing software and develop medium-complexity special-purpose database procedures to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
Provides expertise and technical guidance to stakeholders on the implementation of projects.
Manages major projects that involve providing professional support services and/or the integration, implementation and transition of large, complex systems.
Provides design and development of e-government solutions and is responsible for technical design and implementation of the architecture.
Designs, develops and maintains infrastructure and backend applications.
Provides roadmap for the migration of applications from legacy systems to state of the art technology.
Provides definition of current Commission architecture blueprints.
Provides expertise with web servers, gateways, and application servers and content management systems.
Provides experience in web application technologies and middleware solutions.
Researches new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes.
Ensures that technical design aligns with overall enterprise architecture and that applications scale in the future.
Defines technical best practices for the application implementation and provides Architecture/ high level design documents.
Performs code reviews and ensures adherence to best practices.
Evaluates and identifies possible application performance bottle necks at early stages of the implementation and recommends remedial measures.
Support for the Nightly C2M batch jobs using UC4.
The candidate will modify existing software and develop medium-complexity special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Develop new business process automation using UC4.
Release Management / Deployment.
Customer / Vendor Interactions.
Interface enhancement and application modernizations.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have extensive experience in developing large scale applications in fourth generation programming languages.
Must have experience in defining application roadmap to ensure the maintenance of state-of-the-art systems.
Must have experience defining technical best practices for application implementation and experience in providing high level architecture/ design documents.
Must have experience working with different stakeholders to understand and document the software system needs.
Must have experience in managing medium to large-scale sites and in the management of at least five Internet projects.
Must have experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems and must have led work as an architect in a major IT applications implementation effort.
Must be proficient in the use of some major enterprise architecture software systems.
Must have advanced knowledge of web servers and databases.
Must be able to develop and lead the implementation of solutions to identified software problems.
Must be able to compare various solutions and determine the most suitable.
Ensures that development efforts are well planned and in agreement with standards.
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments; assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Must be able to communicate and collaborate in the team environment.
Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
Maintains application software.
Develops application programs, tests the functionality of the software, and troubleshoots issues found by users.
Has experience working with a variety of Java, JavaScript, ServerPages, z-Linux, C2M, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server DocuSign, XML and HTTPS.
Clearance:
The ability to pass a background check is required.
