Position Overview : This position centers around an enterprise-wide digital transformation initiative within a major retail client. As the Retail Program Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring alignment across business and technology teams, driving strategic retail projects from ideation to deployment. This role focuses on integrating MarTech (Marketing Technology) solutions and facilitating communication across cross-functional teams, all aimed at elevating customer experience and optimizing operational efficiency within the organizations digital and in-store channels. The Retail Program Manager will translate ideas into actionable program plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure seamless execution across departments. Candidates will need substantial experience in Agile methodologies, change management, and team leadership to navigate complex project requirements. Proficiency in program planning, risk mitigation, and strategic communication will enable you to make critical project adjustments and lead teams to success in achieving both immediate and long-term program goals.

Required Skills/Experience :
- 15+ years of relevant work experience, including 710 years in retail program management and at least 5 years in MarTech, professional, or internal consulting roles
- 710 years of experience with Agile development and deployment practices and expertise in agile-based tools and techniques
- Proven experience managing strategic vendor partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact for significant external relationships
- Strong organizational change management background, with a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience in full lifecycle SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall practices
- Proficient in managing and developing team members in a professional setting
- Ability to communicate complex program statuses, risks, and needs to senior leadership effectively, with a focus on executive-level presentation skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Strong risk management and troubleshooting skills for identifying, mitigating, and resolving issues as they arise
Preferred Skills (But Not Required) :
- Familiarity with Digital Media Networks and understanding of modern microservice-based architectures
- Exposure to CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices
- Masters degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- OCM (Organizational Change Management) Professional or PMP Certification
Day to Day/Responsibilities :
- Develop and oversee program plans that integrate both business and technology goals, managing dependencies and translating high-level initiatives into actionable tasks for team members
- Lead cross-functional collaboration sessions, facilitating clear communication on project progress, dependencies, and potential risks across both business and technology teams to ensure alignment
- Manage alignment across multiple programs and projects, strategically directing resources and adjusting plans to meet evolving program requirements and priorities
- Oversee organizational change initiatives, utilizing change management tools and methodologies to guide smooth transitions, minimize disruption, and promote adoption across teams
- Lead Agile development efforts, managing Agile-based tools to foster adaptive planning, early delivery, and continuous improvement; ensure alignment with Agile deployment practices
- Interface with senior leadership regularly, delivering program status updates, discussing program risks, and managing up to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder confidence
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic vendor relationships, ensuring that partners meet delivery expectations and addressing any vendor-related challenges effectively
- Support team members growth and development through hands-on mentorship and performance feedback in line with organizational goals
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to develop and deliver presentations, reports, and project documentation that accurately represent program progress, financials, and KPIs
