Enterprise Architect - SAP S/4HANA

Position Overview
The Enterprise Architect for SAP S/4HANA will be responsible for leading the technical vision, architecture design, and implementation strategy of SAP S/4HANA solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic business acumen to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy
  • Lead technical decision-making for S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and integrations
  • Develop roadmaps for SAP S/4HANA adoption, including cloud strategy and infrastructure requirements
  • Establish architecture governance frameworks and best practices
  • Guide solution architects and technical teams in implementing S/4HANA solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend SAP technologies, tools, and third-party solutions
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Manage architectural risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 5 years focusing on S/4HANA
  • Proven experience in successful S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including:
    • Central Finance
    • SAP Fiori
    • SAP BW/4HANA
    • SAP Cloud Platform
    • SAP Solution Manager
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI, API Management)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA or related technologies
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology
  • Knowledge of agile development practices
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Background in multiple SAP implementations across different industries
