Job Details
As the Permanent Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will:
1. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of maintenance engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
2. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems, and industrial machinery.
3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
4. Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create and interpret mechanical drawings and plans.
5. Conduct mechanical testing to ensure machinery and equipment meet safety and operational standards.
6. Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical wiring, PLC, and other mechanical equipment.
7. Coordinate with other departments to schedule and carry out maintenance activities in a timely manner.
8. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed, parts used, and time spent.
9. Uphold all company safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
10. Participate in the planning and execution of new projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Lead Maintenance Engineer position will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
3. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems, and PLC.
4. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and electrical systems.
5. Strong skills in mechanical testing and interpretation of mechanical drawings.
6. Experience in welding and working with a variety of mechanical equipment.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing staff.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language.
10. A relevant degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
11. Certifications in relevant areas such as Electrical Troubleshooting or Mechanical Maintenance would be an advantage.
