Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of innovative electronic systems and components for our consumer vaping products within the cannabis and nicotine categories. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing, to ensure that our products meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the overall success of our product line.

Duties & Responsibilities

Design Development

Design, develop, and prototype electronic systems and components for consumer vaping products, focusing on functionality, performance, and user experience.

Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with specifications.

Collaborate with industrial designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into product designs.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop and execute test plans to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of electronic systems.

Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing, providing solutions to ensure product integrity.

Ensure that all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

Work closely with product managers and engineers to align electrical design with overall product objectives.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.

Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and updates on project status.

Research & Continuous Improvement

Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform product development.

Identify opportunities for design improvements, cost reductions, and process optimizations.

Contribute to the development of design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and design guidelines.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and embedded systems.

Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements for electronic products.

Skills

Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., MATLAB, Altium Designer, or similar tools) and simulation tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and embrace new engineering challenges.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Education & Experience

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in consumer electronics or related industries.

Proven track record of successfully designing and launching electronic products from concept to production.

Experience with prototyping and testing electrical systems is a plus.
