To help us succeed we're seeking a Digital Marketing Project Manager to play a critical role in evolving our digital channels, including Schwab.com. The Digital Marketing Project Manager will collaborate directly with marketing teams, content publishers, technology teams, business stakeholders and more to deliver best-in-class marketing channel solutions for our web, mobile and app experiences. This role requires a challenger mindset, paired with the ability to foster an agile, dynamic, and collaborative environment. The right candidate will naturally feel at home amongst both Digital Strategists and Product Marketers and will possess a broad understanding of modern marketing tactics and capabilities. A strong technical background will be an asset in this role.

Responsibilities:

Working with a range of teams, the Digital Marketing Project Manager will drive the planning, execution, and optimization of client experiences across our digital channels. Ensure our digital platforms are accessible to all users and the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accessibility standards, tools, and best practices. You will support Digital Strategists and Product Marketers as they follow the documented process for creating new digital experiences. Identify what works well, and what doesn't, help resolve pain points, simplify redundant steps, and ensure everyone is as satisfied as possible with the process.

What you're good at:

  • Identification and solution for inefficiency or pain-point experienced by content owners.
  • Understand all the processes at Schwab to create a digital experience so that they can be the liaison between digital and product marketing.
  • Develop documentation, training, and other materials to ensure our content continues to meet business and customer needs as the digital ecosystem continues to evolve.
  • Support ongoing enhancements, updates, and organization of digital processes and standards.
  • Synthesizing information from multiple sources and framing complex problems in a simple, straightforward way to drive meaningful results.
  • Building strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, with both technical and non-technical audiences, and driving alignment across varied stakeholders
  • Working with incomplete information, with an innate ability to fill in the gaps for broader working groups.
  • Ability to prioritize across varying and sometimes competing business interests, with an ability to compare diverse outcomes and identify clear tradeoffs and reach consensus.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure accessible design and coding practices.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing technology, product owner, digital strategist, or related role.
  • Prior experience managing digital marketing projects required.
  • Wide understanding of foundational digital marketing tactics: SEO, Analytics & Tagging, optimization and personalization, content management and governance and more
  • Familiarity with change management best practices and some experience in education and training.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid critical thinking skills and frameworks to assess opportunities, impacts, costs and to determine overall prioritization.
  • Familiarity with agile process and standard development workflows including discovery, sprint and release planning, testing, QA/UAT, and launches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to partner with teams across marketing, business, and technology - and a proclivity for understanding of processes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively in a highly-matrixed environment.
  • A balance of product and project management to drive iterative enhancements as well as significant, long-term evolution of digital capabilities.
  • Results orientation and ability to work independently / manage multiple assignments.


In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
