As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you are accountable for defining the Enterprise Architecture that supports our Collective Digital Strategy. You are responsible for developing the methodologies, frameworks and models required to effectively represent CLIENT S s integrated value chain across our core applications including Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow and Microsoft products. You will work closely with our Technology Blueprint and Solutions teams to deliver the Enterprise Architecture and associated tooling that support the future success of CLIENT S. You will also collaborate with the Global Chief Technology Officer and the functional CTOs to align the IT strategy and Enterprise Architecture with the business goals and objectives. You will be a key member of the steering groups and forums that oversee the global technology product evolution and roadmaps. You will also lead a global team of Enterprise Architects that help govern the global Technology Blueprint and roadmap.
Experience & knowledge
Proven track record and experience as a senior enterprise architect in a large enterprise, with the appropriate seniority, business knowledge and technology experience.
Experience in setting and delivering the technology aspects of a significant business strategy, with a visionary leadership and a proven track record of delivering functional innovation, with demonstrable savings and improvements.
Knowledge of the architectures, applications and approaches to manage and draw insight from big data sets.
Experience of delivering outcomes in large, complex organizations with multiple hierarchies and stakeholders.
An understanding of the organizational hierarchy, governance, regulations and systems used by financial institutions.
A broad knowledge of applications from end user computer through to data lakes, working knowledge of the major cloud providers offerings (Azure is a must), plus specific experience with automation tools (e.g. ServiceNow), reporting suites (e.g. PowerBI) and enterprise application suites such as SAP (Finance, HR) and Salesforce (CRM)
Technical skills, abilities & qualifications
Master's degree in a technical domain (computer science, information systems, or engineering)
Working knowledge of programming languages (including .net, Python and R). A practical understanding of GDPR, ISO27001 and financial regulations.
Ability to build and coach teams to confidently meet new challenges.
Excellent communication skills and able to explain technology to a non-technical audience.
Used to working with Scrum based agile teams and tooling.
Fluent (certification preferred) in use of TOGAF, ArchiMate
