Position Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in the Riceboro, GA area. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join the team and enhance the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, process improvement, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience using CMMS, ideally SAP. The role will focus on preventive maintenance scheduling, root cause analysis, and the implementation of reliability improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- CMMS Management: Administer and maintain the CMMS system to ensure timely scheduling of preventive maintenance (PM) activities and accurate recording of work orders and asset history. SAP experience is preferred.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Scheduling: Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed root cause analysis of equipment failures and downtime, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Process Improvement: Lead and support reliability improvement projects focused on increasing equipment efficiency, reducing downtime, and extending equipment life.
- Maintenance Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues in collaboration with the maintenance team.
- Data Analysis: Utilize equipment performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems (SAP preferred) for managing maintenance activities and data.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering principles, and root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with process improvement projects and maintenance troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or similar process improvement frameworks.
