The Reporting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights supporting business decisions. This role will create and maintain reports, dashboards and other visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Additionally, the Reporting Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and cleanse data, facilitate systems training and documentation, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to help them interpret Paragon data and assist in addressing business challenges through data analytics.
- Design and build standard reports and dashboards using multiple sources of data for various business processes and provide analytical insights to stakeholders, where appropriate.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes, reporting tools, and data structure to identify and provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or to propose and develop new metrics, dashboards, scorecards and/or tools.
- Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
- Provide training to the business on the use of reporting and analytic platforms, toolsets, data models and reporting technologies
- Document the BI system and associated processes.
- Facilitate first-level review and response to business user data service requests
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
- Bachelor s Degree in an Information Systems related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the business intelligence domain with emphasis on Power BI.
- Experience with business intelligence or data analysis either through on the job experience or a formalized education program.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and Power BI, T-SQL, and SSRS.
- Knowledge of database design and data warehousing principles.
- Experience in Report and visualization design and development.
- Advanced ability to perform Raw data review and analysis to extract relevant data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact and effectively relay test results and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation and problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to identify uncover and identify customer needs.
- Well organized, ability to prioritize, and self-motivated.
- The ability to adapt to rapid changes. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail.

- High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality
EDUCATION
- Bachelor s Degree in IT or related field.
