This role sits within the Field Function, which is at the forefront of working across the home office and sales force as one team to achieve the sales and growth objectives the company expects, while delivering the experience our distribution system needs and deserves. Our team within the field function is responsible for delivering useful, actionable content to our sales force to help them effectively support their clients, creatively engage new prospects, and ultimately achieve peak success in their careers. Our Technical Writers use leadership skills and abilities, curated strategy knowledge and a gift for language to craft intuitive, impactful product experiences that help users accomplish their goals while keeping focus on business objectives. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Content Strategy, this role will provide hands-on content support for teams across the organization as we work to streamline and improve the field intranet site. As part of a centralized authoring team, you'll help create consistency across the site and improve the user experience to help field members find the information they need, quickly. Accountabilities: Support cleanup and maintenance of field intranet content including moving content into new content management system from legacy repositories (including SharePoint Online), copyediting, testing and updating links, updating document titles, and verifying accuracy. Implement requested content updates from business partners across the enterprise and efficiently manage a work queue with impeccable internal customer service. Consistently meet or exceed 3-day service level agreement. Facilitate content owner outreach and content updates in support of sitewide annual review. Write and edit content to create a clear, consistent, concise content experience for field and home office users. Support the development, maintenance and documentation of site content strategy. Support development of content creation and review processes to enable a cohesive content ecosystem.

Bring your best! What this role needs: B.A. in journalism, communications, English, marketing, digital media or related field. 3-6 years of previous experience in UX writing and/or content strategy work in product, marketing or tech organizations, agencies, freelance. Previous work experience in a large corporate environment is a plus. Strong writing skills and command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary). Strong work ethic and ability to maintain high levels of output. Proficient at UX and technical writing. Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone and style requirements. Natural curiosity and a knack for creative problem-solving are markers of success. Able to balance multiple projects; adaptable to ever-changing priorities. Ability to collaborate, seek transparency and work independently to execute tasks. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, help teammates and learn from them. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
