We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business System Analyst II in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role is primarily in the technology industry where you will be responsible for managing designated platforms, conducting needs assessments, and aligning the company's technology with business strategies.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate and translate business requirements into technical requirements to guide the implementation of new features, systems, and enhancements.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure system solutions satisfy the business requirements.
Assist in the overall system design documentation and successful rollout of new features and enhancements.
Conduct meetings with decision makers, system owners, and end users to identify business financial and operations requirements and systems goals.
Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems or functionality for enhancing business processes and operations.
Develop and maintain design documentation, data flow diagrams, workflows, documenting integration points between systems across the organization.
Provide systems analysis expertise, focusing on gap identification, technical requirements, access framework, data flow, and operational process mapping.
Improve systems and operational workflows by studying current practices and designing modifications or enhancements.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Actively participate in and lead system and unit testing for modified and new systems and other post-implementation support.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability in Customer Service, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Proficient in Documentation, able to create clear and concise Procedures and Review processes
Experience in Operations and Production environments
Proven abilities in Research and Design work, with a focus on enhancing business processes
Skilled at delivering effective Presentations to stakeholders
Knowledgeable about Benefit Functions and Business Process Functions
Able to effectively liaise with Vendors and Troubleshoot issues as they arise
Experience in performing Ad Hoc Financial tasks
Familiarity with Implementation and Engineering practices
Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
Ability to Execute tasks and manage Upgrades within a specified Framework
Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field
Able to create a comprehensive Business Requirement Document
Experience with system Enhancement projects
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
