Description
We are in search of a Programmer/Developer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves supporting a state data platform which is utilized across multiple sectors such as Education, Higher Education, Children Services, and Human Services, among others. Our team works within the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and the role requires a focus on tasks related to data lifecycle, including ingestion, cleaning, ensuring data quality, and presentation layer development. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain SQL and BigQuery scripts for complex data manipulations.
Utilize use case related to various sectors to support the data platform.
Ensure data quality and consistency in accordance with our standards and practices.
Address customer inquiries and offer solutions in a timely manner.
Effectively manage data platforms in the Google Cloud Platform environment.
Collaborate with other team members on code reviews and process enhancements.
Work on the presentation layer of the data platform to ensure it is user-friendly and efficient.
Leverage your skills to improve our processes, best practices, and the overall quality of our product.
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status.
Ensure adherence to work schedule with occasional weekend coverage as required.
Requirements
Proficiency in SQL is required.
Must have a thorough understanding of Data Quality.
Experience in Human Services is a plus.
Familiarity with Data Platforms is necessary.
Knowledge of BigQuery is expected.
Should be able to develop and understand Use Cases.
Must be able to work on the Presentation Layer.
