This position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance and does not have the ability to sponsor candidates for clearance processing.

We are seeking a skilled Applications Developer to assist with the maintenance of existing legacy applications and facilitate the transition to a new system architecture. This position is located in the Reston area.

Important Note: This role requires an additional security clearance process.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Full Stack development, with a strong preference for proficiency in Java.
  • Proven expertise in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with applications built on client-server architecture.
  • Proficient in developing, implementing, and maintaining complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
  • Experience operating within an Agile development environment.
  • Proficient in version control using GitHub.
  • Experienced in utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ElasticSearch and the ELK stack for data analytics and logging.
  • Understanding of the Sponsor's Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with the C# programming language.
  • Ability to design and deploy bug fixes in C# to enhance and support existing legacy systems.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and 5 years' of experience.
