About the Opportunity

The Plating Team Leader takes charge of all operations and personnel in the Plating department. This position works directly with Senior Management and other team leaders to ensure that the Company's strategic and production goals are met.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Plating by performing tasks that include but are not limited to recruitment, training, and development of employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; provide salary recommendations; address complaints and resolve issues.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes; plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics to ensure efficient and timely completion of jobs.
  • Evaluate and report on Company's production performance; works with all departments to develop and implement production improvement that will maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with department leads and vendors to make decisions regarding production activity and goals.
  • Develop strategic goals and metrics for production efficiency and output.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new technology and equipment.
  • Lead the team with integrity; establish and maintain a productive environment.
  • Improve Company culture by encouraging teamwork, idea sharing, and cross-training
  • Manage department expenses/costs.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and customer audits; implement necessary action items in response to audit findings.
  • Perform all other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Required)
  • Hands on knowledge of the Plating process in PCB manufacturing (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in a PCB manufacturing environment (Preferred)

Please note that job responsibilities may include frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

California Pay Range
$58,000 $75,000 USD

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
