What You ll Do:
Senior Business Analyst to support the Office of Security Management s (OSM) cybersecurity project planning and execution. This role involves developing and analyzing business requirements, system and application data, and supporting various cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct critical analysis of statewide system and application inventory collection.
  • Develop and analyze solution and system requirements, ensuring they meet outlined standards.
  • Categorize and prioritize data and project requirements.
  • Support risk and impact assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and trend reporting.
  • Assist in creating scope statements, project objectives, and process documentation, including charts and diagrams.
  • Evaluate solutions, technologies, and services to meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state security standards, policies, and guidance.
  • Provide support for legislative requirements and reporting as needed.

Education:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Management, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

What You ll Need:

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in IT business analysis and requirements development, or an additional two (2) years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in developing business requirements for IT solutions and projects, and evaluating IT technologies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, documentation, and develop reports.
  • Familiarity with project management methodology and skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in facilitating, documenting, and managing requirements for IT asset management systems.
  • Experience in cybersecurity requirements development and solutions.
  • Cybersecurity-related certifications.

Additional Skills:
  • Customer-oriented with a high degree of responsiveness and attention to detail.
  • Strong fundamental IT knowledge, including old and current systems, and wide-ranging applications such as Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Applications, and Cybersecurity.
  • Business intelligence skills, including knowledge of data structures and the ability to develop analysis and reports for enterprise-wide and micro views into IT operations and portfolios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders and teams, both internal and external to OSM.
