Position Overview: The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing and overseeing our business processes to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. As a Healthcare/Medicare company, this role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader with a strong background in business operations and management and a passion for serving those navigating the Medicare landscape. The ideal candidate will be skilled in implementing process improvements, managing cross-functional teams, and driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to improve business operations, enhance productivity, and meet organizational objectives.
- Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies, optimize sales technology including CRM, monitor sales performance, and maintain a solid understanding of the lead generation funnel.
- Call Center Management: Oversee call center operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient handling of customer calls.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within current processes, and lead initiatives to streamline operations and boost performance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of operational staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial constraints.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, and Customer Service to align operational strategies and support business objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure operational activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies, managing risks effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance, project updates, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business operations management, with a preference for experience in the health or financial services industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and business operations software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Medicare.
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Expert knowledge in CRM or Salesforce.
- Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the health and financial sectors is advantageous.
