TEKsystems is looking to hire REMOTE Medical Insurance Verification Specialists for a large healthcare company out in Austin, TX. They are looking for candidates in TX, please do not apply if you do not reside in TX.
Responsible for taking care of members through calls & emails, will process open enrollment, talk about their consumer driven products, help with COBRA enrollment payment questions, reset passwords on websites, help complete wellness exam on company website, and answer general benefit questions.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The CCS I is an entry level position in Customer Care. The CCS I is a customer centric individual who is responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for the caller ultimately creating Raving Fans. The CCS I works within a team but also works independently. This individual will demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Public Service, Promoting Wellness, Simplicity and Operational Excellence. Works under moderate supervision.

Examples Of Work Performed
- Answers inbound phone calls from members and providers
- Completes insurance benefit and eligibility verification with both members and providers
- Provides claim status and information
- Promotes the use of TML Health website and online tools to members and providers
- Completes Accident/Injury questionnaires, check tracers and other insurance forms
- Communicates complex claim issues and properly escalates calls
- Updates mailing addresses, phone numbers and email addresses for members
- Resets passwords for membership as needed
- Need 2 bilingual and 2 non-bilingual
- Must have 6+ months of Healthcare and Call Center experience.
- Must have strong Computer Skills and Type (40 WPM)
- Minimum HS Diploma.
- Must sit in TX, but Bay City, Port Isabel is preferred.
- Need to be Locked Down that they have or will get REQUIRED INTERNET CAPABILITIES:
