Description

Member First Mortgage is seeking a Senior Escrow Specialist to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role you will be responsible for providing skilled support services to the Escrow Department by answering incoming phone calls and emails, as well as completing various Escrow-related tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and performs Quarterly Escrow Audits for standard portfolio, bankruptcy loans, and loss mitigation requests. Analyzes and validates escrow analysis preparation including stops and flags to ensure escrow accounts are analyzed at the appropriate time.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and responds to member emails and voicemails within the Escrow Call Queue.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and reports are accurate and recorded properly.
  • Secondary backup to Servicing Call Center and responding to emails and voicemails.


Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education : A high school education or GED.

Other Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously


Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee must occasionally life and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen, to use hand to finger, to speak in and listen carefully on the telephone.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a remote and/or in office setting.
