Position Overview:
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst specializing in Medicare Bid, you will play a critical role in analyzing and developing bid strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insights that drive decision-making. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing our Medicare offerings and enhancing our competitive position in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop Medicare Bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CMS regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for bid development.
- Utilize statistical methods and actuarial techniques to assess risk and project future trends.
- Write and execute queries in SQL or other programming languages to extract and analyze data.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior analysts in their professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation; Fellow or Associate in the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Medicare Bid analysis.
- At least 5 years of healthcare actuarial experience.
- Proficiency in writing queries in SQL or another programming language.
- Bachelor s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Successful completion of 4 or more exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.
