Our client, a world-renowned multi-million-dollar manufacturer of outdoor and indoor equipment, is embarking on another exciting phase of technical transformation by expanding and enhancing their internal IT landscape. With a Global presence, over 50 locations, countless publications, & several pioneering projects in the pipeline for the next several years, they are expanding their IT team to accommodate growth fueled through acquisition and product expansion. They are seeking a full-time, direct-hire Sr. Technical Project Manager to join them asap to train up before several project kick-offs Q1 of 2025.
This Sr. Technical Project Manager role is ideally suited for someone with a strong technical background and an understanding of Salesforce, SAP S/4 HANA, and Middleware (Mulesoft or BODS exposure a plus).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage medium to large-scale IT projects involving multiple systems and teams
- Collaborate with senior IT and business leadership on a wide range of infrastructure and application related project
- Work closely with highly technical internal teams and third party vendors collaborating with technical and non technical users
- Actively track progress and prepare/update project status reports for all active projects- utilizing project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar technologies)
- Hold team members accountable to deliver project tasks on time; find creative ways to stay on schedule and make appropriate business-based trade-offs
- Assess project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies
- Organize, lead, attend, and document relevant project meetings
- Collaborate closely with business and development teams (Salesforce Developers, SAP Analysts, CRM, QA etc.)
- Develop technical documentation including customer journeys, user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams etc.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization s technology platforms, influencing and establishing best practices through solid design decisions and tools
Role Requirements:
- 7+ years of progressive IT project/ program management experience delivering projects on time, within budget, with minimal project interruptions
- Must have experience managing technical infrastructure related projects with close attention to system reliability and scalability
- Experience working with a variety of systems, platforms, and technologies (Salesforce, SAP S4/HANA, BambooHR, Mulesoft) all highly valued not required
- Strong understanding/experience with Project Management Tools
- Agile Scrum project management experience preferred
- AWS Cloud project experience highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented individual capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Global project management experience within Enterprise environments
- Experience working with local and remote team members
