With a reputation for delivering top-tier quality and unmatched customer service, we are expanding and looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to be an essential part of our team in Charleston, SC.

Your Role:As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our project management team by acting as the bridge between project operations, accounting, and HR. If you’re highly organized, love multitasking, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this position is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track project progress from start to finish.
  • Set up new job proposals in our accounting system and create project folders.
  • Handle the permit application process with local municipalities.
  • Coordinate and schedule job inspections.
  • Manage purchase order requests from project managers.
  • Obtain and distribute Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for projects.
  • Track warehouse inventory and perform monthly physical inventory counts.
  • Assist with HR tasks, including onboarding new hires.
  • Provide general support to the project management team.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in construction, project management, or a related industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and municipal officials.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail, especially in tasks like permit applications, inventory management, and purchase orders.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, especially onboarding.
  • Problem-solving skills to navigate project challenges and ensure smooth coordination.
