DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated In-House Photography Intern to join our content production team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in commercial content production, including producing, cinematography, and photography. The intern will support our in-house production team, manage equipment, and assist with various administrative tasks related to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNINGS:

  • Equipment Management: Maintain and manage MATTE's existing in-house photography and video equipment inventory across active projects. Ensure all equipment is in working order and properly stored.
  • Production Support: Assist the in-house production team by researching, attending production meetings, and performing general administrative work. Help with various aspects of content production as needed.
  • Portfolio Contribution: Contribute to ongoing projects by providing support in capturing high-quality images and videos. Showcase creativity and technical skills through your portfolio.
  • Learning and Development: Gain hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of commercial content production, including producing, cinematography, and photography.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be enrolled in a University or Master's program.
  • Must be available for a minimum of 12 hours per week, and a maximum of 16 hours per week.
  • Must be available between January 22nd and May 15th. Internships begin January 22nd, 2025.
  • Interest in Commercial Content Production: A strong interest in roles such as producing, cinematography, and photography.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of video and photography equipment. Familiarity with camera settings, lighting, and editing software is a plus.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio of past work showcasing your photography or video skills is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage equipment inventory and assist with various administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with the production team and contribute to a positive work environment.

This internship will be a predominately in-office position. Our offices are located in Soho, Manhattan.
