Position Overview: Managing Director

ClearBlue is seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing operations, driving strategic growth, and leading teams in the EPCM, automotive, energy, or infrastructure sector, particularly within sustainability, mobility, and clean technology verticals. The candidate will possess a unique combination of critical thinking, financial strength, operational expertise, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership for ClearBlue’s operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and vision.
  • Oversee the project management team execution of large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and budget control.
  • Directly lead and mentor cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies for long-term business growth, focusing on key partnerships and opportunities to advance sustainable practices, clean energy, and zero-emission solutions.
  • Foster innovation by identifying opportunities for technological advancement and operational efficiency within infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain ClearBlue’s reputation for operational excellence, while continuously improving processes and performance metrics.
  • Act as the primary liaison with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives to expand ClearBlue’s presence in new markets and enhance client relationships.

  • Industry Passion: Excited about the sustainable industry and passionate about infrastructure projects. Experience in construction project management, program management, and infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Resourcefulness & Relationships: A resourceful leader with established contacts and relationships in the industry, able to leverage networks for business growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience, preferably in the EPCM, automotive, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors. (5+ years in a management/leadership role).
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects ideally with a focus on sustainability, clean technology, and mobility solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and market trends related to renewable energy, decarbonization, and electric mobility.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and client management skills.
  • Ability to foster innovation and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects successfully.
  • Experience using PM and Procurement software, Microsoft Teams
