The Wholesale Insights & Engagement Manager executes premium in-store and online experiential

programs that elevate the brand by driving sell-through, ensuring maximum revenue generation and

consistent brand messaging with wholesale account partners. This role builds both customer and internal cross functional relationships to achieve sales objectives and results.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates with manager to develop integrated wholesale account activation omni-channel plans that align in-store, digital, OOH, ambassador programs, and physical experiences. Responsible for executing the plans.
  • Manages relationships with Sales leadership, Account reps and Wholesale Marketing partners to proactively drive strategic marketing plans designed to achieve account growth and profitability targets.
  • Carries out Insights & Engagement product and brand initiatives in alignment with product and brand awareness vision and strategies.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Sales Planning team to maintain wholesale data including merchandising planning, marketing metrics, and digital performance. Provides business updates and reporting including sell-in and sell-thru details, competitive analysis, product demand and availability, and market share to senior leaders.
  • Pro-actively identifies, executes, and optimizes key product storytelling opportunities across the wholesale channel. Carries out I&E product and brand initiatives in alignment with product and brand awareness vision and strategies.
  • Drives best in-class, in-store POP based on seasonal product launches, stories and brand campaigns led by I&E leadership. Manages GWP and SWAG promotions plan per year to budget bases on seasonal needs and account marketing plans.
  • Manages wholesale account marketing budgets, including contractual MDF/Co-op spends, and develops and maintains reporting of the ROI on tactics and programs based on plan, in partnership with the Wholesale I&E leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • Five (5) years of consumer marketing experience required with experience in outdoor or brands with a strong lifestyle component preferred.
  • Documented experience working across various departments with multiple touchpoints.
  • Excellent understanding of consumer behavior and ability to utilize consumer insights to drive targeted marketing messages.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • A strong eye for copyediting and creative detail.
  • Pro-active, highly motivated, entrepreneurial can-do attitude.
  • Strong understanding of brand and product – outdoor and technical knowledge preferred.
  • Innovator, eye for detail and drive to see projects through until 100% completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, robust presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint – knowledge of and experience with Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to partner with internal and external teams to drive the business goals.
  • Strong knowledge of current technology, trends, and best practices in retail and digital marketing.
  • Must be flexible and able to work with tight deadlines, and extended hours when necessary.
  • This role has a Hybrid schedule which will require 3 days in the Portland office per week.

Travel Required: Yes, 25% of time

Base Salary: $92,000.00 - $101,000.00 yearly

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
