Job Summary:

Provides full life-cycle recruitment for the entire Shoppa’s organization so that the Company workforce planning goals are met through high quality talent acquisition efforts. Must have a proven track record of delivering all facets of recruiting support to hiring managers. Will use discretion and independent judgment while ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent and elevating the Shoppa’s brand.

Essential Functions:

  1. Leads the end-to-end recruitment process, including consulting with HR and other business unit managers to identify talent acquisition needs, sourcing best talent, conducting effective and insightful screening to include administration of profile tools and testing, making candidate recommendations to hiring managers, coordinating the interview process, and ensuring strong candidate experience.
  2. Develops a comprehensive recruitment process for the organization to ensure consistency in service delivery and understanding.
  3. Assists CHRO and hiring managers in defining clear job skill specifications, developing new or reviewing existing position descriptions to ensure accurate recruitment targets/sources.
  4. Developing and implementing proactive sourcing strategies to ensure ongoing pipeline of external candidates and balanced speed/quality of source to hire turnaround.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers and CHRO to identify targets and markets to proactively source candidates.
  6. Post advertisements, use social and professional networks, job fairs, contact with technical schools and other methods to ensure appropriate “reach” to potential candidates. Manage costs and measure effectiveness of each source to ensure best “bang for the buck” for recruitment efforts.
  7. Communicate regularly with hiring managers to provide progress updates on requisition status, calibrate on targeted candidate profiles. Seek out feedback on quality of candidates, and align on potential changes in course of action and next steps as necessary.
  8. Inform candidates of pre-employment requirements, position requirements, location, and salary. Ensures the communication and interaction with candidates is conducted in concert with the Shoppa’s brand, vision, and values.
  9. Maintain the recruitment module of the HRIS/ATS (Ultimate Software), to include position postings, developing team to use hiring manager access and statusing of candidates online.

Other Duties:

  1. Implements and prepares reports for CHRO and management team to assist in monitoring and evaluation of current processes and areas for improvement.
  2. Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, OD or related field. Five (5) years progressive recruitment experience in a corporate environment, preferably with exposure to mechanical/technical recruiting. Experience with ATS (Ultimate Software preferred). Demonstrable experience in researching and sourcing passive candidates required.

Strong recruitment background required. Positive attitude, well-groomed professional appearance required. MUST be a team player. Must possess solid organizational, interpersonal and communications skills. Solid demonstrated internal and external customer service skills required. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, hiring managers required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Solid presentation skills required.

Physical Job Demands:

Must be able to sit at desk and work on computer often; stand, walk, talk on telephone frequently. Travel to multiple sites (branch offices, job fairs, technical schools, etc.) required. Lift/carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
