  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Ibu Movement is seeking a passionate and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to empower women artisans worldwide through sustainable fashion and home goods.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain relationships with artisan cooperatives

· Collaborate with design to create the collections, select styles, quantities, etc.

· Manage the entire sourcing process, from initial contact to final delivery

· Negotiate prices and terms with artisan partners, ensuring fair compensation

· Oversee quality control and implement sustainable practices throughout the supply chain

· Monitor inventory levels

· Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions

· Ensure accurate and up-to-date product information is maintained in Shopify

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

· 3-5 years of experience in buying or sourcing, preferably in the fashion or home goods industry

· Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

· Proficiency in purchase order and inventory management systems

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive, hands on, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Experience working in or with non-profit organizations, preferably in the global development or artisan sector.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

· Commitment to the mission and values of Ibu Foundation.
