We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance AEM Tester to join our team to ensure the quality and performance of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. The AEM Tester will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans. This role is integral in delivering high-quality web content management solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for AEM components, workflows, templates, and integrations to ensure functionality and quality.
Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing, with a focus on functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found during testing, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with AEM developers, project managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and provide feedback on application functionality.
Test Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for AEM applications, and execute automated test suites regularly to ensure ongoing product quality.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure the AEM instance can handle expected load and traffic without issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and best practices to ensure consistent testing standards and knowledge sharing within the team.
Continual Improvement: Analyze testing processes and identify areas for improvement, helping to streamline workflows and enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of [X years] of experience as a QA Tester, with specific experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AEM components, templates, and workflows; proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Automation Tools: Experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with attention to detail; ability to identify issues quickly and work towards effective resolutions.
Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience in performance testing and load testing for AEM-based applications.
Knowledge of web development basics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain DoD Interim Secret clearance
