We are looking for a savvy Product Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Technology, the Product Manager should be passionate about our mission to support those who need help most in our healthcare system. This role will be part of our Technology team and help set priorities and guide roadmap decisions.

What We Do

We create and execute technology enablement efforts – from software development to data/analytics, to infrastructure, and enterprise technologies. We work collaboratively across stakeholders to understand business problems and needs, and design & implement solutions that support our mission of providing effective and transformative patient-centered care.

We work on an ever-expanding set of technology platforms and are always seeking the simplest, most cost-effective way to solve problems. We build solutions, run data integrations and data warehouses, execute healthcare analytics, and more, all deployed across automated, serverless infrastructure wherever possible.

How You Can Help Us

Here are some key areas where you can help to make our team stronger:

  • Driving product decisions and cross-functional processes – you have demonstrable experience working across multiple business units and competing stakeholders to forge consensus and establish organizational priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of the Healthcare ecosystem – you bring a lot of knowledge and experience across all parties who work together to deliver healthcare in the US and understand their financial (and other) motivations, processes, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to drive growth in a healthcare start-up – you know and love start-ups, in particular healthcare services start-ups, and have fueled growth in a dynamic technology organization thru rounds multiple rounds of funding and growth.
  • Assessing market trends and perform competitive analysis – you have experience creating completive analysis, market sizing, and product & feature valuations and ROI. You always keep one eye on the market and competition to better understand ever changing needs.
  • Working knowledge across software development, data engineering/integrations, analytics/AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure/design – you’ve worked across multi-dimensional engineering organizations and have produced and managed products of all types. You have experience growing teams and mentoring all kinds of engineers. Includes being a little hands-on with all types of tech tools: SQL, Azure DevOps, APIs, Salesforce.
  • Ability to translate abstract strategies into detailed requirements – you have bridged the gap between business teams and technology and have written and delivered on multitudes of product requirements documents. You can demonstrate how to take an abstract strategy and make it real.
  • Create or review wireframes and guide simple, intuitive UI/UX designs – you know that nothing is more important than user experience and know how to put yourself in the user’s shoes and identify strengths and weaknesses of a user interface, and have strong involvement defining an amazing user experience.
  • Ownership and cultivation of a value-based roadmap and development board – you have owned the roadmap and development priorities for a growing organization and have a proven ability to make the right trade-off on a hard decision on competing needs.
  • User documentation and education on designs, architectures, and implementations – you’ve bridged the technology gap by showing users how to use products by creating easy-to-follow documentation and teaching users hands-on by becoming a product guru.

When it comes to specifics, we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in product management, at least 5 of which is in healthcare and at least 5 of which is with start-ups.
  • College degree in business or technology - having a strong technical background so you can stand toe-to-toe with engineers.
  • 5+ years delivering excellence with a remote workforce.
