As a small business with mission-critical commitments, Annapolis Micro Systems is moving full speed ahead. To maintain our positive momentum, we are seeking multiple Design Engineers with U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph.
As a cleared FPGA Hardware Design Engineer, you will join a team of mixed-signal hardware designers involved in diverse products incorporating microcontrollers, FPGAs, data converters, compression algorithms, and memories. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the FPGA and PCB design flow including specification, behavioral and RTL coding, testbench development, place and route, timing analysis, and physical verification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design Digital Hardware in Verilog or VHDL
- Create Testbenches for Analog and Digital Hardware
- Capture Requirements By Interacting With Customers
- Perform Physical Verification
- Present Customer Status Reports
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Has received, or are willing to receive, the COVID-19 vaccine
- Desired knowledge of languages: VHDL, Verilog
- Desired knowledge of tools: PCB design and layout tools; Xilinx or Altera FPGA synthesis tools
- Strong communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship
