Assistant Facilities Maintenance & Operations Manager

Here s what you ll be doing:

1. Assists with the development and implementation of the facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
2. Assists with ensuring the efficiency and operational capacity of all building systems.
3. Assists with the supervision of maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment.
4. Assists with conduction and documentation of regular facilities inspections.
5. Assists with the preparation of operational reports and analyses.
6. Assists with the preparation of budgets for facilities maintenance and operations.
7. Assists with the oversight of the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
8. Serves as a mentor, coach, and positive role model for ethical behavior.
9. Continually seeks improvement in process and efficiencies.

Here s what you ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor s Degree (Project Management, Operations Management, Applied Management, Engineering Tech)
• A working understanding of electrical systems, HVAC systems, carpentry, and various mechanical and architectural systems.
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Facilities Management software, BAS Management software, Excel Certification)
• Must be member of Forest County Potawatomi Tribe
• Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Project Management.
• Customer Service Oriented.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Capable of preparing project cost estimates.
• Maintain relationships in a team atmosphere.
