Job Summary:

We are looking for a UX Manager with extensive experience in both B2B and B2C web and eCommerce environments to lead our design team in creating seamless, innovative, and engaging digital experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in UX/UI design, a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role will be responsible for driving the UX strategy, overseeing the design process, and ensuring that our digital platforms meet the diverse needs of our B2B and B2C customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UX Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a UX strategy that aligns with business goals and caters to both B2B and B2C audiences. Drive user-centered design processes across web and eCommerce platforms to enhance customer experience.
  • Team Management and Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance on design best practices, usability standards, and career development.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Development, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business and user needs.
  • User Research and Insights: Lead user research efforts, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and drive data-informed design decisions.
  • Design Execution: Oversee the design of intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for B2B and B2C eCommerce sites, ensuring that all designs are consistent, responsive, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Utilize analytics and user feedback to measure the effectiveness of design solutions and continually optimize the user journey for both B2B and B2C platforms.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a focus on web and eCommerce; at least 2 years in a managerial or lead UX role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • B2B and B2C Expertise: Strong experience designing for both B2B and B2C digital experiences, with a clear understanding of the nuances and requirements of each market.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating successful design projects for eCommerce or web applications with a focus on both B2B and B2C users.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
    • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
    • Experience using Asana for project management and team collaboration
  • Analytical Skills: Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to analyze user behavior and drive UX decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to advocate for the user experience while balancing business priorities.
